Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. Lennox did not feel satisfied with the level of her skills compared to other students at Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in 1976. However, she left shortly before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and 1980, she sang in The Tourists. A British pop group. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form The Eurythmics Pop duo. Then, Lennox began to work on her solo first album Diva that came out in 1992. It received lots of praise both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album that was released in October 2014 included Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has selected her top blues, soul and jazz songs. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to the art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go...
