JenniferJennifer was always hoping to be a multitasking star. When she was a kid, she enjoyed a variety of musical genres, mainly Afro-Caribbean dances such as salsa, merengue and the bachata as well as mainstream music like hip-hop, pop and R&B. Though she was passionate about music and film, the industry of cinema also attracted her. West Side Story (1961) the musical by Rita Moreno that greatly influenced her and was her most significant influence. At 5, Jennifer began taking singing and dancing lessons. Alongside being a talented performer Jennifer is also a Catholic schoolgirlwho attended eight years at a Catholic elementary school called Holy Family located at The Bronx, before graduating at an all-girls pre-school, Preston High School after four years of attendance. When she was at school, Jennifer was an amazing athlete and participated in tennis and track. Then, in Castle Hill, she spent her childhood in a 2-story house. Jennifer quit her parents' home at 18 to move out. Lopez started working for an attorney firm during the day and took up dance jobs at night.
